A Mage's Burden of Love

"‘I love you so much, I'd die for you.’ Is there any truth to that platitude, I wonder?" These are the musings of Rosetta D'Amato, an aspiring young mage arriving at the tail end of a blood curse gifted to her by generations of transgression. Cursed to die before she reaches the age of 25, a 24 year old Rosetta has made no plans of celebrating her upcoming birthday. Instead, she's spent years researching every loophole and solution she could, all to arrive at one conclusion: The lethal curse will destroy the vessel it inhabits; Rosetta is more than willing to trade hers with a willing… or less than willing volunteer. After summoning the 5th great demon lord, patron of betrayal, bargains and opportunity, Zantedeschia, Rosetta is determined to free herself from her predetermined tragedy; by any means necessary.
