Danchi Days

Help Hoshino bring her hometown back together in a comedic-yet-bittersweet story set in 2000s Japan! She'll face malevolent forces, uncover truths about her town, all while reconnecting with neighbors and her grandma living with dementia. By gingham games - that's sandy powder, mogumu, and Melos Han-Tani (of Analgesic Productions)!

In an old danchi (Japanese housing complex), there used to be a yearly summer festival. Alas, the residents have aged, and the once-loved tradition is now on hold. But our protagonist, Hoshino, decides to revive it. Hand out flyers to let everyone know the festival’s back! Hoshino is a lively and passionate 12-year-old, who recently moved to the danchi with her dad. She takes on the responsibility of organizing and reviving the summer festival!
