Aki just wanted to pursue her dreams quietly. She's a shy nerd who hides in the back of class, nursing a hopeless crush on the perfect, popular girl Miyuki. School feels lonely, but she has one place where she truly belongs: the VR Idol contest, where she performs as DJ Bugsypop! When she’s suddenly paired with the stylish, confident Idol Luvly, their duo takes off overnight. Together, Aki's dream of being a musician might really come true! Except Luvly isn’t just anyone. She’s Miyuki, the girl Aki’s admired from afar all along?! Now, without either of them realizing, they’re falling in love all over again! But if their identities ever get out? Aki might lose the one place she finally feels like she belongs.
