"They say that life is full of extraordinary possibilities. But extraordinary things don't happen to ordinary people." Shana Masako is your typical high school girl—she watches anime, reads manga, plays mobile games, and hasn't a clue what to do with her life. There's just one thing unusual about her: she's cursed by a fox that enjoys playing tricks on her. So, when she runs into the handsome Inato Fudami one morning, it's a far cry from the life-changing encounter she's read of in shoujo manga. With the help of a disgruntled transfer student, a kindly childhood friend, and a fox that doesn't exist, explore the dreams of disillusioned youth and navigate the boundary of expectation and reality in this school life otome.
