Netcromancer

netcromancer is set in a post-post-apocalyptic utopian city where little is left to fix with society except the unavoidable certainty of death. Citizens have cheated death so far as limiting their environment to preserve their bodies, cloning to preserve their legacies, and uploading their consciousness to preserve their minds. The story begins when Ellie Mason receives a corrupted file with one of these uploaded minds attached. What else is to be done except to give this mind a new body and a new life. Netcromancer Ch. 1 is the first part of a coming series of visual novels containing mystery and sci fi elements. It is also basically an ostentatious conversation simulator for people who like robots and dead wives. It features: lots of options for no real reason but some down home, real as raisins, fake deep sci filosphy. About half an hour of gameplay for one runthrough, but multiple options and playthoughs could easily double that with enough gumption and time on your hands.
