Once upon a time Kiyomi lived quietly alone in her derelict forest shine, but those days are long over. Now Cecilia and her knight retainer Char have become a permanent fixture in her life despite the rocky first encounter. Where once there was just the whistling of the trees now there is chatter and laughter. Kiyomi can no longer imagine a world without Cecilia next to her. Yet when Cecilia announces she will not be visiting for a while due to the arrival of a foreign envoy, Kiyomi is overcome with emotions she does not understand.
