Sonicomi: Communication with Sonico

SoniComi is based on Sonico, an overly busty amateur idol and mascot of Nitroplus, and features players as her cameraman. Naturally as a cameraman, you will both film and court her. The game flow will consist of two phases: the adventure and action phase. The adventure phase deals mainly with your job as a cameraman, giving you the task of planning her photo shoots to the client’s requests. Gravure fans will be happy to know that they actually get to take pictures as Sonico poses around the set. The action phase is similar to what players are used to in visual novel games – building a relationship with Sonico outside of work. These get broken up into scenes that involve physical contact, eye contact, and talking. Talking seems to be pretty basic, , but physical contact and eye contact seem to be the more interesting aspects. These include holding her hands at the right time, eliciting either embarrassment or a romantic moment. Likewise, eye contact during a conversation will be important. Lead Sonico to Stardom: Sonico has the potential to become an international superstar. It's your job to provide her with guidance and support as she chases her dreams. Depending on your actions, you can reach one of 18 wildly different endings. In between shoots, you'll have the opportunity to interact with Sonico in many different situations. Your choices will affect her opinion of you, potentially unlocking new story paths. In addition to dialogue options, you will also have opportunities to interact with Sonico through personal interactions. Be careful, as some choices can be dangerous, while others can lead to sparks of love! Become a Photographer: Choose a location, put together an outfit, and get to shooting! During each photography session you must score points by shooting quality photographs as requested by the client. Your photographer's eye will show colored rings to identify the best shots. Don't get too carried away! You must also manage Sonico's enthusiasm and stamina. Lift her spirits with well-timed banter and breaks. The greater her enthusiasm, the more daring her poses!
