Star Avenger is a variant of the arcade game Scramble. You control a spaceship travelling across a horizontally scrolling landscape littered with obstacles of various types including missiles, planes, bats and force-fields. In some areas, the ceiling and floor topography also means careful piloting is needed to avoid a crash. Your aim is to make it past everything without hitting anything. Points can be earned by shooting some of the opponents.
