Tantei Kibukawa Ryousuke Jikentan: Kamen Gen'ei Satsujin Jiken

This case is eight months after the first in the series, "The Masked Illusion Case". The story begins when Masao Ikurumi, a scenario writer, receives an invitation to participate in the beta test of a new network game, "Misty Online". "Misty Online" is Japan's first MMOADV, a groundbreaking game in which players work together with their friends to solve crimes in a world that closely resembles a real town. The player, Izuna Sagishima of the Kibukawa Detective Agency, participates in the beta test and takes on a fictional murder case, only to find that the player playing the role of the "corpse" who fell to his death from a great height does not respond at all... Reality and illusion. The present and the past. The myriad threads that are intricately and mysteriously intertwined create illusions and envelop people's hearts and minds.
