The Hunter, the Poet, and the Pheasant

The Poet marvels at the beauty of nature. The Hunter chases what he believes is natural. And the Pheasant remains unaware of the human pair. But what if the Poet were to become the Hunter? Or if the Poet sprouted wings and learned to fly? What if you had a shotgun shell embedded in your chest and you turned to face the one who put it there? --- A short game about a father, a child, and a bird. Inspired by Radclyffe Hall's The Well of Loneliness and childhood memories of early mornings, distant bird calls, and meandering conversation.
